Dr Nicholas founded ‘Opposite’ in 2015 to commercialise and further explore his interests in creative thinking, design, emotion, and technology. Within the business, Dr Nicholas leads a team of highly talented Organisational Psychologists, Human Factors specialists and Experience Designers to help businesses challenge convention and work more more effectively.

Workplaces often try the same approached over and over but can fail to land sustainable change. Interpersonal dynamics, personality, and biases are often at the heart of these systemic problems. Yet, we try to fix these problems with technical narrow solutions, such a mandates, procedures, and performance management systems. Dr Nick and his team at Opposite help businesses solve problems sustainably and become more innovative.
